What is Sandblasting

Sandblasting uses high-pressure abrasive particles to clean, etch, or decorate surfaces. We apply this method to everything from delicate glass to large-scale building exteriors.

Benefits:

Removes rust, paint, and grime

Prepares surfaces for painting or sealing

Delivers custom frosted effects on glass

Eco-friendly and solvent-free

Durable, long-lasting finishes

Use Applications:

Glass / Perspex (we arrange artwork where necessary):

I am renovating a house in town. I contacted two sandblasting companies in Cape Town to sandblast the white paint off the concrete ceilings.

Three levels. Both companies told me it would be too expensive and too messy. The one owner said just to get equipment and the sandblast aggregate to site would cost RX plus +RY for each floor. They wouldn’t even come to site to quote. My builder recommended Millroy.

Irmo came out the next day and quoted. The two day job including aggregate was less than RX. They arrived the next week and were done in a day and a half. The ceilings look amazing. YES there was a lot of dust and drifts of sand everywhere - but it was a building site already. I can recommend Irmo and Millroy Services.
